ART DECO PIED-À-TERRE
Manhattan, NEW YORK
The apartment’s location, in a Prewar Art Deco building in New York City, provided us with all the inspiration we needed for this project.
Geometric patterns, brass accents, and bespoke woodwork, all evoking the Art Deco style, became woven into the design of a modern, airy and inviting pied-à-terre for a young couple.
In this project, we combined three separate studio units into a two-bedroom apartment, with a spacious open-plan kitchen and living area, and two full bathrooms, where the tiles pay an homage to the Art Deco era.
